The VCE provides diverse pathways to further study, training and employment.
This diverse selection empowers students to explore their interests deeply and develop skills pertinent to their future endeavours.
Pathway Options:
Senior School students can choose from the following academic pathways:
  • Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE): A two-year program providing diverse pathways to further study or training at university or TAFE and to employment.
  • Victorian Certificate of Education Vocational Major (VCE VM): An option for students seeking a more vocational focus in their senior secondary education.
  • Vocational Education and Training (VET): Available across a range of industries, VET offers students the opportunity to gain industry-recognized qualifications while completing their senior studies.
This dynamic curriculum ensures that students are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to thrive in their chosen pathways beyond school.

Our Curriculum

Prep to Year 4

At Christian College Geelong, our Prep–Year 4 program is built on a strong foundation of structured English and Mathematics learning. Through explicit instruction, targeted small group work, and carefully sequenced skill development, students gain the essential literacy and numeracy skills they need for success.
We then bring this learning to life through an inquiry-based approach across the wider curriculum. Students are encouraged to ask questions, investigate real-world ideas, think creatively, and apply their growing knowledge in meaningful contexts. This balance of structure and inquiry helps students develop deep understanding, independence, and confidence as learners.
Our goal is to nurture curious, capable young thinkers who see connections in their learning and are excited to explore the world around them.
