Back Creek Café – Meredith
Year 9 Program
Located in Meredith, a short drive from Back Creek Farm, Back Creek Café is another unique Christian College learning environment. It is open to the public 6 days a week. In their small work groups, students residing at the farm spend time at the café assisting in its operations, acquiring and developing valuable hospitality-related skills.

Learning through experience
The College believes authentic experiences present multiple learning and self development opportunities. Students, removed from their usual routines, in unfamiliar environments, work together with others to achieve shared goals.
Real-life experiences
Fresh produce
Back Creek Farm supplies the café with a range of fresh produce, which is sold separately, and used as ingredients in a range of menu items – including fresh eggs, fruit and vegetables and sunflowers.
Paddock to plate experience
Students work front and back of house at Back Creek Café, located down the highway from Back Creek Farm in Scotsburn. By preparing and serving produce, the link between agriculture and hospitality skills comes to life.
Great menu selection
With its all-day breakfast, a fabulous range of other meals, snacks, sweet treats, gluten-free options, great coffee and a variety of other beverages, it’s always a good time to drop into Back Creek Café!
