Throughout their Christian College journey – from Prep to Year 12 – students belong to one of our four Houses:
- Burrows (Yellow)
- Flynn (Blue)
- Penman (Red)
- Taylor (Green)
House competitions and carnivals are a feature of College life
House competitions and carnivals are a feature of College life and provide students with the opportunity to use their skills and talents to represent their House in various ways. In Junior and Middle years, the different annual sports carnivals – Swimming, Athletics and Cross-Country – are highlights, and the main ways in which students can contribute to their House performance.
These carnivals are designed to be inclusive of all, with novelty and fun events included, and provide the opportunity for students to support and cheer on their fellow House members in a spirit of fun and friendly competition.
A wide range of other competitions where Houses keenly compete.
At Senior School, as well as the Swimming, Athletics and Cross-Country carnivals, there is a wide range of other competitions where Houses keenly compete. These include team sports, such as football, soccer and basketball, as well as non-sporting competitions, such as House Music, House Cook-off, Drama and Wearable Art.
Home rooms at Senior School are multi-level, and organised according to the House structure.
The rivalry is keen, the competition spirited and friendly and events are always conducted in a way that maximises inclusiveness, fun and enjoyment.
