Guide to Enrolment at Christian College Geelong
Step 1: Tour the Campus
Christian College Geelong has 5 campuses available across Geelong, Surf Coast and the Bellarine Peninsula. We offer two options to meet with the Head or Deputy Head of Campus to tour the campus of your choice.
A) Come and See Group Tour
Click on the Campus of choice and book online on a date and time that is convenient. No strings attached, a chance for you and your family to come and see the College in action on a guided group tour.
Like what you see? Take the next step by completing an Enrolment Application (see process below). A follow up interview may be required, and the Head of Campus will need to meet with you and your child once your online application has been completed.
B) Personalised Tour
Would you prefer a personalised tour for your family? Click on the Enrolment Application tab via the website to book a personalised tour.
One of our administration staff will then be in contact with you to book a date and time for your personalised tour. It is advised that your child accompanies you for this tour with the Head or Deputy Head of Campus.
You will need the following before you commence the online application process:
- Electronic copies of the students’ birth certificate, most current school Report and NAPLAN results (not applicable to Prep enrolments)
- Any other documentation relating to your child’s learning needs and/or court orders will also need to be uploaded or hard copies provided, prior to your tour.
Step 2: Assessment of Application
Assessment of Application
Post your personalised tour or interview, the Head or Deputy Head of Campus will notify you, pending place availability and entry criteria, whether you will progress to the pre-enrolment phase.
- This step requires you to pay the enrolment application fee of $250 per child, while any subsequent child in the family is reduced to $100.
- Please note that pre-enrolment is not a guarantee of a place offer, however, the date at which the pre-enrolment is completed is a factor when determining priorities for a place offer, therefore timely completion is encouraged.
- A Visa/Mastercard for payment is required for the $250 enrolment application fee (this fee is a non-refundable administration fee to process your enrolment)
Step 3: Offer of a Place
Offer of a Place
Twelve months prior to entry (unless a student is commencing immediately), and assuming all entry priorities have been met, parents/guardians will receive an Enrolment Offer for your child to commence at Christian College.
Step 4: Accepting the Offer
Accepting the Offer
To accept the offer of place at Christian College, the following must be submitted:
- Families will need to complete the Enrolment Offer documentation online.
- A non-refundable and non-transferable deposit of $750 per child is payable to secure your child’s position and confirm your enrolment.
- Digital Contractual Agreements will be emailed to each parent/guardian for signing to secure the enrolment.
- Enrolment deposits are applied as a credit to your first Fee Statement issued at the commencement of the student’s enrolment.
Step 5: Commencement planning
Commencement planning
Your child’s Orientation Day, subject selections (secondary only) and transition activities will be communicated and arranged for November in the year proceeding commencement.
Students seeking immediate commencement will be advised of their transition requirements in the interview with the Head or Deputy Head of Campus.
We look forward to welcoming your family as you commence your educational journey with us at Christian College Geelong.
