About the Opportunities

Christian College Geelong invites Expressions of Interest from passionate, innovative and student-focused educators interested in joining our teaching community in 2027.

We welcome Expressions of Interest from:

  • Experienced teachers.
  • Early career teachers.
  • Graduate teachers completing their studies in 2026.
  • Educators seeking ongoing, contract or part-time opportunities.

Teaching opportunities may arise across a range of year levels and subject areas from Prep to Year 12 throughout our campuses.

While specific vacancies will be advertised as they become available, this Expression of Interest process enables us to connect with educators interested in future opportunities at Christian College Geelong.

Graduating at the end of 2026?

Christian College Geelong welcomes Expressions of Interest from graduate teachers looking to commence their teaching career in a supportive and values-driven environment. Our experienced teaching teams provide guidance, mentoring and professional collaboration to help early career teachers develop confidence and thrive in their profession.

Selection Criteria for all Applicants

To be considered for this role, please provide a brief overview outlining how your skills, experience, values and approach to teaching align with the requirements of the role and the Christian ethos of the College. You do not need to respond to each criterion individually.

For graduate applicants, relevant examples from your studies, placements, volunteering or other experiences are encouraged.

  • Support and uphold the Christian ethos, mission and values of the College.
  • Create engaging, inclusive and purposeful learning environments.
  • Plan and deliver effective teaching and learning programs that support student growth and achievement.
  • Build positive relationships with students, families and colleagues.

All applicants are expected to demonstrate an understanding of, and commitment to, child safety standards. The successful applicant will be required to hold a current Working with Children Check and comply with the College’s Child Safety policies and Code of Conduct.

Essential Requirements

Applicants must:

  • Hold a recognised teaching qualification.
  • Hold current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration, or be eligible for registration prior to commencement.
  • Hold the right to work in Australia.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to Christian education.
  • Be willing to support and uphold the Christian ethos and values of the College.
  • Meet all child safety and screening requirements.

Please note that staffing requirements for 2027 have not yet been determined. However, we encourage interested applicants to submit an application for consideration. All applications will be reviewed by College Leadership in late Term 3, 2026, once positions requiring recruitment have been identified. Suitable applicants may then be contacted to arrange an interview.
