A vital part of College life

Bus journeys are not just about travelling between home and school. Our buses do many trips – from short shuttle runs between Senior Campus and Villa Paloma, to major expeditions – like transporting Our World students to Central Australia. Then there’s excursions, travel for sporting teams, international exchange groups, camps, Music and Outdoor Ed trips – and more.

Christian College buses are maintained for the highest level of passenger safety and comfort. The Highton depot includes a two-bay garage with a hoist and employs two full-time bus mechanics. They undertake servicing like oil changes, transmission checks, globe replacements and all manner of internal and external maintenance work on a daily basis.

As well as having top level skills behind the steering wheel, our drivers are people with a genuine love and care for our students. They bring a smile to their faces and build positive relationships with their passengers. For bus travellers, their driver is the first person from the College to greet them in the morning and the last one to say farewell at night.
