A focus on knowing each child personally and guiding all students to become well-balanced, caring and confident young people, is central to the Christian College Surf Coast approach.
Surf Coast Campus – Torquay
Nestled in the stunning coastal landscape near the Great Ocean Road, our Surf Coast Campus offers a unique learning environment where nature, innovation, and creativity come together. From Prep onwards, students engage in a future-focused curriculum with a strong emphasis on science, supported by hands-on investigation, inquiry learning, and real-world applications, alongside rich opportunities in technology, art, and design thinking. Our modern, purpose-built science laboratory allows students to explore scientific concepts in depth, including marine and environmental studies that draw on our unique coastal location. Through experimentation, fieldwork, and observation, students connect classroom learning with the natural world around them.
Students also benefit from specialist programs in textiles, systems and technology, creative arts, and digital learning, supported by purpose-built facilities including an Innovation Centre, Food Studies kitchen, and inspiring creative spaces. Our state-of the art stadium and extensive outdoor areas further enhance student wellbeing, physical education, and whole campus events.
Junior classes regularly use the Spring Creek Valley as part of bush treks, exploring local ecosystems and diverse habitats through hands-on outdoor learning experiences. With specialist teaching across key disciplines and a warm, community focused atmosphere,
Surf Coast Campus provides a rich balance of academic excellence, curiosity, and personal growth in an inspiring coastal setting.
