Middle School–Highton is a place of inspired learning, powerful character growth, faith development and love. Our rich programs, passionate staff and beautiful facilities combine perfectly in support of our most precious resource, our students, nurturing them through the life-changing journey of their adolescence.
Middle School Highton
Our Middle School – Highton Campus provides a dynamic
and supportive environment that facilitates the transition
from primary to senior schooling. With specialist teaching
across core and elective subjects and access to excellent
facilities for Science, Technology, Music and The Arts, students are encouraged to explore their interests, discover new passions and develop confidence. A strong focus on wellbeing and pastoral care, grounded in Christian values, ensures every student feels safe, connected, and empowered to thrive academically and personally as they grow through
their adolescent years.
This campus is home to the state-of-the-art CCG Sports
and Aquatic Centre, which hosts many signature events,
including College and House Music performances, Interschool robotics and chess competitions, Presentation Balls and other memorable celebrations. It is also the home of
the CCG Eagles Basketball and Netball Team, and the CCG
Sport Hall of Honour.
The tranquil Middle School – Highton Chapel serves as a
learning and teaching space during the school day, and
also functions as a performance venue for music, drama,
assemblies, and visiting presenters.
A cherished College tradition sees graduating students
return to the Middle School – Highton Campus to climb
the clock tower and sign their names, commemorating
their time and story within the College community. Looking
back at the thousands of alumni signatures spanning 35
years is nothing short of inspiring.

Student highlights

Year 9 Transformation
Our unique Year 9 program includes half a term residential experience at our ‘Back Creek Farm’ and half a term on Campus in an ‘industrial space’ that operates independently of the College timetable and regular school classes.
The learning is cross-disciplinary and very much guided by the students. The Transformation Program explores each student’s personal character, their place in the world and how they can make a difference in both of these areas to contribute to human flourishing.
Exceptional Learning Programs
In the Middle School years, students consolidate and further develop skills and knowledge in the core learning areas of English, Maths, Science, Humanities, Languages, GEOS, Health and PE, Music, Art and Digital Technologies. In lower secondary levels, a wide-ranging elective program allows students to pursue their passions and interests in a variety of subject areas.
Musicians, Performers and Composers
The Centre for Music, Sport and Performing Arts has tuition rooms, large rehearsal spaces and a 260-seat auditorium that hosts music and drama performances. Our thriving music program starts in the classroom, extends to ensembles and provides scope for students to pursue their performance at the highest level.
