Christian College was founded on its “pastoral heart”. Our nine College chaplains activate our wellbeing program, alongside our teacher and student wellbeing leaders. Each of our chaplains is a trained counsellor, offering pastoral care through one-on-one confidential support or small group discussions.

Modelling positive attitudes to learning and relationships is central to our mentor program. Particular emphasis is placed on the transitions of Junior and Middle and Middle and Senior schools. Year 9 students mentor Year 5 students through a weekly activities program.

Grounded in the principles of our Christian ethos, our wellbeing program focuses on building emotional resilience, sustaining relationships and developing confidence to articulate and critically reflect on students’ own personal development.
